Unicorns. Those magical creatures!

I've been inspired lately with rainbows, glittery sparkles, fulfillment of a dream and esthetic of a pony with a horn 💖

 Pastel Unicorns Necklace.
And two Unicorns are better then one! The Unicorn charms are made completely by me, hand cut and sculpted out of polymer clay. They are in pastel pink color with a gentle pearly hue, with colorful rainbow mane and tale, covered with some glitter, attached to each other with beautiful matching turquoise pearl beads.

 Fairy Dust Statement Ring .
This ring was created from pure inspiration, in a blink of an eye. One morning I just woke up and I simply had to make it. Like it was some magic force that happened which prompted me to make this Unicorn. And, boy, I must admit, with all that fairy dust and glitter, he really is magical!


Macaron Unicorn Sweet Cookie Brooch
What a lovely idea to make a Unicorn from a french macaron cookie! This fairy tale macaron Unicorn is the highly requested cake at the moment on the Instagram, so I just had to make my version of it ✨

It's a kind of a lifelike replica of macaron biscuit being transformed into Unicorn, with tiny ears and sparkly golden horn, sugar flower crown, pinkish blush and "chocolate" eyelashes. It also has sprinkles between the layers like the real one! And it's absolutely adorable 💜

According to some studies, currently there are more Croats living abroad than in Croatia. I'm not an expert, but I'd say, this also applies to other countries in the region... People are moving to more economically developed countries, and it has its benefits... But. There is always nostalgia. They are homesick. They miss their loved ones, the language, traditions and customs, and of course, the most they lack, is their favorite food - traditional specialties and, of course, sweet treats.

This summer I'm inspired with 50's retro tropical fashion. Watermelons, pineapples, coconuts, strawberries, limes, bananas and of course double cherries are essential attributes and must haves, so

From the land of the hummingbirds

 Summer is finally here and this year I'm inspired with tropical motives. Especially with beautiful tropical birds!

 

First of all, Flamingo. An ultimate rockabilly, pin up and mid century classic and a must have! Would be a perfect finishing touch on your pinup girl look or a rockabilly gal style! In my Etsy shop you can find Flamingo brooches. 

 And you can match them with Flamingo earrings. I've made 3 kinds of flamingo earrings, so you can pick your favorite one: mint background, turquoise background or black background.

 

Also I've made tropical bird brooches which are inspired with 50's mid century Hawaiian tiki summer fashion.

Be careful what you wish for

... iliti istinita priča o materijalnosti želja :)
Jednog ranog jutra prije par godina, dok sam nakon neprospavane noći pokušavala uspavati svoje nemirno djetešce, bezumno sam buljila u ekran potpuno stišanog tv prijamnika, upaljen isključivo u svrhu osvjetljavanja prostora. Inače ne gledam televiziju uopće, ali to jutro baš jesam. Vjerojatno sam to baš zato i zapamtila.
Na programu je bila ranojutarnja emisija Dobro jutro, Hrvatska!, baš je u tijeku bio informativni blok. I voditeljica, nečujno otvarajući usta, pričala mi je o strahotama što se svakodnevno događaju oko nas i u svijetu. Nisam marila baš. Ali zapele su mi za oko njene naušnice - neke neobične, velike i pomalo šašave. Mislim da su bile od filca. Baš smiješno, pomislih, žena vodi informativnu emisiju, a baš je tako simpatično neozbiljna :D
I u tom trenutku na pamet mi padne luda ideja: jednog dana će tako na Dobro jutro, Hrvatska! voditeljica nositi moje naušnice. Sigurno hoće, uopće ne sumnjam u to.
I danas je taj dan došao. Nije bila niti jedna druga emisija, nulti sat, plodovi zemlje ili duhovni magazin - ili kajaznam koje još postoje emisije na nacionalnoj dalekovidnici. Bila je upravo na Dobro jutro, Hrvatska!
Samo nije bila neka tam bezlika te bezimena voditeljica informativnog programa koji nitko ne gleda, već bilo je to nešto posve posebno! Bila je to omiljena od strane svekolikog blogerskog pučanstva Just Cake Girl, moja vječna muza, inspiracija i sada već draga prijateljica (čemu se iskreno radujem) - Tihana.

Kuhala je prefine muffine sa šunkom. Bila je preslatka. Sigurna. Rođena da bude pred kamerom. Zvijezda.
I nosila je moje naušnice. Da da.
Dakle, kao zaključak: želje jesu materijalne. Samo treba zanati točno što želiš. I ostvarit će se. Sigurno.
